However, you should use discretion and exercise caution while using the Internet for any business or other applications including GlobalLinker

In case you have forgotten your password, kindly follow these steps:

•  Click here to visit GlobalLinker
• Click on ‘Forgot Password?’ link under the 'Password' field
• Enter your registered email address or registered mobile number and click on ‘Send’.
• A an email with a link to reset your password will be sent to your email address. Please click on the link (PS: Please wait a few minutes to receive it. If you don’t receive the mail, please check your spam folder.)
• You will be directed to the ‘Reset Password’ page. Enter and confirm your new password
• Sign In to your account using your new password

In case you are looking to change your password, kindly follow these steps:

• Post signing in, click on your company logo/picture (or initials) from the top right, select 'Settings' from the Menu and further select 'Reset Password' from the right
• Follow the simple steps to reset your password
• As you confirm, your new password takes effect and you will be signed out of your account.
• Sign In to your account using your new password.

 Note: The reset password link will remain active for 48 hours

To update your profile, follow these simple steps:

• Sign In and click on your picture (or initials) on the top right of your screen and select 'EDIT' on your eBiz Card
• Click on the ‘edit’ icon, make necessary changes and click on 'Save'

Within your profile, you can update the following details:

• Personal Details - Complete Name, Designation, Mobile number, Date of Joining, Description
• Catalogue - Add your product information
• Location - Work Address
• Social network - Website, Twitter, Blog

Being a Company Admin kindly follow these steps to verify your Company:

• Sign In and click on your company logo/picture (or initials) from the top right and select 'EDIT' under your eBiz Card.
• Click on your company name to visit your company profile 
• Under your company name click on “Request Verification” link
• Enter your Company PAN number/GST number or click 'UPLOAD' to upload other Government document(s) and click on ‘Save’

Note: In case you are a sole proprietor or a HUF, kindly provide a scan copy of your GST to verify your company

Only your Company Admin can make changes to your Company profile. Being a Company Admin kindly follow these steps to request a change in your Company name:

1. Sign In and click on your picture (or initials) on the top right of your screen and select 'EDIT' option on your Company eBiz Card
2. Click on 'Edit' next to your company name

In case your company is verified:

1. To change your business name, you may:
   1. Select 'Edit' icon under 'Doing Business As'
   2. Update the company name under 'Correct name for Doing Busines As'. Select 'Change' to confirm this update
2. To update your legal name, you may:

• 1. Select 'Change' next to your legal name mentioned next to 'Verified as..'. You will be asked to confirm this step.

Note, in case you proceed with the name change request, your Company will no longer be a verified Company. You will have to initiate the verification request with the relevant documents for the revised company name.

Incase your company is not verified, you may:

• Update the company name under 'Doing Business As'
• Scroll down and click on 'Save'

Contact us in case you are unable to change your Company name

Important things you may want to action before you close your account:

Do note, after your account is closed, do bear in mind that you will not be able to access your account and seller panel - where you manage your catalogue or store. It is hence important to take action on these important points.

Export your customer base (Guide)

There may be instances where you may want to close your account with GlobalLinker. If you are the company admin, you may visit your ‘Settings>Close Account’ to close your account.

Accounts will be closed by you only. GlobalLinker’s support desk cannot close accounts on your behalf. 

Red Flags:

You may be unable to close your account if certain items in your account are open or not closed. These items will be highlighted as ‘Red Flags’ (icon)

Store

Orders

• All orders must be fulfilled and closed.
• If you have a store and you have open orders, you will not be able to close your account.
• To close your open orders, visit your orders page in your Seller Panel and mark the orders as delivered.

Business Profile

Events:

If you have an upcoming and published event, cancel the event and close your registrations. Visit event page and scroll down to published events - click on ‘Unpublish’

Do note, if your event is a paid event, you must ensure all refunds are passed on to the registrants. GlobalLinker is not responsible to refund any amounts on behalf of you.

Company Network:

Your company must always have an active Administrator who manages the business profile, store and employees linked to your account. 

To ensure this; transfer your Admin Rights to another employee, who can manage the company network, profile and catalogue or store for your company account.

Groups: 

If you are a group owner, one must transfer their ownership rights to another group manager. As a group owner of a group, you have two options:

1. Transfer ownership rights to another group member. 

Note:  Group ownership rights can be transferred to a Group Manager only. Refer to this step-by-step guide to Appoint a Group Manager and Transfer Ownership Rights.

2. Delete the Group via your Group Settings Page. Read this FAQ to know how.

If the above is not an option, you may remove all the employees in your company network.

Once your account has been closed, it cannot be reopened or reinstated, so we recommend you to take your required steps

For your store:

Being a Member, follow these steps to close your individual account:

• Post Signing in, click on your company logo/picture (or initials) from the top right, select 'Settings' from the Menu and select ‘Close Account’ option on the right
• Select the reason, and your account will be closed.

 Please note: Once you close your account, you lose access to all GlobalLinker modules and features.

Being a Company Admin, follow these steps to remove Member(s) from your Company network:

• Post Signing in, click on your company logo/picture (or initials) from the top right, select 'Settings' from the Menu and select 'Manage Company Network' option on the right
• Look for the Member who you want to remove from your network and click on 'Remove from Company' to remove him/her from your Company network. You will be asked to confirm this step.

No. You will not receive any emails from GlobalLinker upon deactivating your account. If incase you do, kindly contact us.

GlobalLinker aims to build a network of trusted SMEs on the platform.

A verified profile helps establish you as a credible and trustworthy business partner. When you verify your business profile, it tells other businesses about your authenticity and legitimacy and they will be a lot more comfortable in doing business with you. Further, a verified profile also has access to features that may be restricted if they are not verified - like posts, creating events etc.

Also any other company will be able to find you on GlobalLinker only after you have completed the company verification.

You can identify a verified business profile if you see a green check mark next to its business card.

It is also very simple to verify, within your profile, one simply has to provide an acceptable legal document of their company registered with GlobalLinker. You may click here to view the acceptable list of documents.

Through a completed profile, your products/services and business profile can show up when potential buyers search for your company or similar products on GlobalLinker and even on global search engines (Google,Bing etc)

You can add important information like your business information, licences and certifications, your addresses and much more. You may also verify your profile to confirm your legal identity. This helps establish you as a credible and trustworthy business partner.

A Company Admin updates, manages and maintains your Company's Profile (this includes the profile, catalogue/online store) on GlobalLinker. The Company Admin secures your Company Network, by ensuring that the right Members are part of your Company; manages your Company's purchases.

The possible reasons for rejection could be:

• The document(s) submitted is under your personal name.
• The Company name mentioned on GlobalLinker differs from the document(s) submitted: Please rectify the same by following Company name change steps and re-initiate the Company verification request.

To have your Company verified, you may provide an alternate document from the list. You may click here to review the list of alternate documents.

Kindly follow these steps in case you have erroneously created a duplicate Company account:

1. Delete 'your incorrect Company' from GlobalLinker: Send us a request to delete 'your incorrect Company' from GlobalLinker and the reason for deleting the account. Such a request can only be initiated by the Company Admin. Also, please ensure no Members are attached or are a part of the incorrect Company. Being a Company Admin, you may follow steps to remove Members from the incorrect Company so that they can join the correct Company..
2. Join 'correct Company' on GlobalLinker: Once your Company account is deleted, follow these steps to join 'correct Company' on GlobalLinker:

• Post signing in, enter your company name in the ‘enter your company name field’ (PS: As you enter your Company name, select 'correct Company name' from the drop down)

• Confirm that you are joining the right company.

Note: The admin of the company will review your joining the company and reserves the right to remove you if you have erroneously joined a company account that you are not a part of.

While uploading your Company logo, please ensure it meets the below parameters:

• The file format is .jpg or .png
• The size of the image is not above 10 MB
• The image ratio is 1:1 i.e. a square. Ideal size is 500x500 pixels

Note: You can check these parameters in applications like Photoshop, GIMP or Paint for Windows

Only the Company Admin can update the Company Profile. Being a Company Admin, kindly follow these steps to update your Company profile:

• Sign In click on your company logo/picture (or initials) on the top right and select 'EDIT' option on your eBiz Card
• Click on your company name to visit your company profile 
• Make necessary changes and click on 'Save'

Note: You can update the following details in your company profile:

• Your company information – Company name, Core Business Area, Company verification, Product/ Services you offer, Product images, Date of incorporation, Number of employees, Turnover, Nature of business, Business type, Industry, Sub-category, Specialization  
• Contact information - Business address
• Social network - Company website, Twitter, Blog
• Awards & Certificates

• Post signing in, select your company logo/picture (or initials) on the top right and select 'Settings'. On the right, select 'Manage Company Network' under 'Company Settings'

• Under your eBiz card, select 'Transfer Admin Rights' option.

• Select your Company link's eBiz Card to transfer Admin Rights to. You may also search for a link by entering your links name in the search option.

• Click 'CONFIRM' to proceed.

If you are the Admin of your Company, follow these steps to change your Company:

1. Transfer Admin Rights: Transfer your Admin rights to an appropriate Member from your Company. You may click here  to view 'Transfer Admin Rights' steps

2. Change your Company: Once you transfer Admin rights, kindly follow the 'Change Company' steps mentioned below.

If you are the Member, follow these simple steps:

1. Post Signing in, select 'Settings' from the Menu and select 'Change Company' on the right

2. Choose option 'Create a new company / Join an existing company'. You will be asked to confirm this step. Note: You will be signed out of your account.

3. Sign in once more to enter your revised Company details under 'Admin Approval' section. You may select from a list of existing Companies on GlobalLinker or create a new company account

To unsubscribe from promotional emails, follow these simple steps:

• Post Signing in, click on your company logo/picture (or initials) from the top right, select 'Settings' from the Menu and select 'Manage Email Preferences' option on the right
• Under 'Promotional Emails', 'Uncheck' notifications that you no longer like to receive via email
